Getting Help in Hindi for Emergencies

If you have an emergency while traveling in India, you'll be glad to know these basic phrases. Be prepared for emergencies by committing these Hindi phrases to memory:

  • "I Need help!" pronounce as "mujhe madad chahiye".
  • "Emergency" pronounce as "apata kal".
  • "Call the police!" pronounce as "pulisa ko bulao".
  • "Call an ambulance!" pronounce as "eka embulensa ko bulao".
  • "I need a doctor" pronounce as "mujhe cikitsaka chahiye".
  • "Where is the hospital?" pronounce as "aspatala kahan hai?"
